A Native of Tacoma, Chihuly was commissioned by the Tacoma Museum of Glass to develop this 500 foot long pedestrian bridge that straddles I-705 and links Downtown Tacoma to the waterfront. To house all of that color Chihuly teamed up with Zahner to create the structure where all of his creations would be housed.
